Watched a moment of this since I just saw some of the Tarzan movie with Nancy Kelly the other day. I never paid any attention to Gordon Scott as Tarzan but his voice even sounds much like Weissmuller's based on the single scene I saw and he certainly looked the part with that freakishly huge chest. It's interesting for people to know that ever since Weissmuller, every single subsequent Tarzan has been roundly resented by practically everyone simply for not being Weissmuller. Don't remember seeing Scott before (knew the name) but they evidently came very close to a good Weissmuller clone in his case.
