Meet Me at Parky's starring Harry Einstein (1945)

Here's a rare episode of the radio program Meet Me at Parky's, a spin-off of The Eddie Cantor Show. It stars the father of Albert Brooks and Bob Einstein, broadcast out of the KFI studios in Hollywood.

Meet Me at Parky's had two separate lives. First on NBC as a 1945 summer replacement and two year's later on the Mutual Network. It was neither a success nor a failure. It was better than most crud thrown on the air as time killer and not particularly sophisticated. Variety reviewed it kindly as "entertaining corn."

Harry Einstein was also known under the pen name Harry Parke. His character, heard here, was Parkyakarkus. Listen Now!
