It wasn't until I got to the last part of the interview that I almost fell on the floor.
I was pleased when Jerry talked Steve Albini style about how to trick executives (every aspiring filmmaker should see that),
thought his comments on critics were on target.
But in the last piece he says he is working on THE DAY THE CLOWN CRIED.
Hold on. This unreleased film has always had the aura around it that Jerry was out of control, on massive quatitites of pain killers, etc.
Something isn't adding up.
I hope someday I can see the film, as I now suspect a lot of these stories are false.
