Kliph Nesteroff Presents "a portal into a previously unseen world" - The Guardian
"Invaluable" - The Onion AV Club
"Important" - John Hodgman, The Daily Show
I remember this show. WSYR at that time was Channel 3, the NBC affiliate in my hometown, Syracuse. (Nowadays WSYR is Channel 9, the ABC affiliate, a different company entirely, and what used to be WSYR is now WSTM. Had enough?)
This program was broadcast on Sunday mornings, as part of the station's fulfillment of the FCC requirement for local broadcasting.
One episode featured a young woman named Vanessa Williams. At the time she was a Syracuse University student or had been one. This was before she became famous, but even then you could see she had a remarkable quality -- poise, charm, a sense of purpose. In short, star quality. I wasn't surprised when she became famous.
