Ida Lupino! Wow, she was a pioneer, ahead of her time, directing films, producing, writing scripts, a real creative person.
She tackled some serious subjects in the movies she wrote and directed, and did it in a noir style that I enjoyed alot. Not just another pretty Hollywood face.
Why hasn't she received more recognition her artistry?
