Looks like the Douglasses will never get that renovation done on the Haney place now.
As a boy watching Jet Jackson (the adventure hero formerly known as Captain Midnight), I loved Melton as Ichabod "Icky" Mudd. I was delighted when he showed up as a regular on "Make Room for Daddy" and, later, became a staple on primetime TV. He played tough guys, good guys, idiots, sidekicks, con men and many, many more; yet, no matter the character, his natural charm always helped sell the role. A great character actor who will always live in the hearts of TV-centric baby boomers.
