Kliph Nesteroff Presents "a portal into a previously unseen world" - The Guardian
"Invaluable" - The Onion AV Club
"Important" - John Hodgman, The Daily Show
I began reading Perelman in the late 1960s, but this is the only substantial recorded interview I've ever seen of him. I think Dick Cavett might have interviewed him, too, but if so I've never seen it.
I think Pereleman is at his best in his "Cloudland Revisited" essays, in which he revisits the movies he enjoyed in his youth and, on viewing them again, finds them hilariously wanting.
