NBA on CBS (1979)

This was when the NBA was at its lowest point in the U.S. Its games on CBS were shown during the late night time slot. Between 1979 and 1981, the NBA finals were not shown in prime time but tape-delayed with a start time of 11:30 PM eastern time. This was before Bird and Magic reignited the popularity of the league.
