This episode has special meaning to my brother & myself. He was on Christmas leave from the Navy & so miserable at how they were treating him as well as being a 19-year old boy who had never been away from home & was now in some strange place called Cuba. I was having all of my three big brothers dragged off...two to the Army & this one to the Navy. For some reason, when we saw Arnold squirt the spruce juice, it made us both laugh so uncontrollably & so long we cried & all the troubles of the world passed away. The phrase "spruce juice" still cracks me up. :0) Somehow as soon as I saw your link I knew it was the one. Thanks.
Wonderful anecdote, thanks for sharing.
