Neal Hefti 1922-2008
This is my all time favorite Neal Hefti track - off an LP of Batman "inspired" songs. This track is titled The Mafista!
Funny You Should Ask with host Lloyd Thaxton and celebrity guests Marty Allen, Stu Gilliam and Rose Marie (1968)
This is kinda cool. Not only is this a nice glimpse at a very rare game show, but it also features three people who have had their LPs showcased on this site: Stu Gilliam's comedy record, some Marty Allen comedy LPs, and the Lloyd Thaxton LP from the other day.

The Lucy Show (1962)
Approximately forty public domain episodes of The Lucy Show are available ad nauseam in bargain bins, on the internet and in public libraries - and occasionally even on those nearly dead institutions known as independent television stations. Far more elusive are the many episodes not in the public domain, and lucky us, this is one of those episodes.

Oooo - But It's Good! - Jack Sheldon (1961)
This comedy record obscurity features jazz musician and part time comedian Jack Sheldon best known for his appearances on The Merv Griffin Show and as the voice of the Bill on Capitol Hill from that School House Rock short. Of course there was a lot more to the man and a documentary all about him was recently released.
Listen to the whole album - Oooo But It's Good - The Weird, Wild, Wonderful, Wigged-out Wit of Jack Sheldon.

Archie (1964)
Well how about this. The failed attempt at turning Archie Comics into a sitcom from 1964. The pilot never got picked up. And don't forget to check out my never-ending cataloguing of the best and worst items ever sent to The Archie Club News.
