Hi Kliph,
This comment is way overdue.
I don’t remember how I came across your blog, but I really love it…in fact, it’s my favorite on this subject…I look at it every day, and have for some time now, and have also told many people about it…
I was born in 1958, and grew up sitting in front of the TV. I didn’t have siblings, so the people of the virtual world of television were my surrogate family. I make no apology or excuse for watching and enjoying a lot of TV, even now…although I tend to enjoy the old stuff more than anything current (except, maybe 30 Rock)…and I reject the notion that it’s a vast wasteland. I think TV is important, and worth studying.
Your theme posts are cool (like the current Christmas show theme), and I particularly enjoy the obscure stuff that you publish. There are some things on your blog that I have never seen (and I really thought that I had seen everything), and I look forward every day to the little mental vacation that I can take when I visit your site. My inner child is very happy here.
I am posting because I have a couple of blogs that I maintain, daily, and I always complain about people who tell me they enjoy my sites, but never post anything. So tonight it occurred to me that, as much as I dislike blurkers, I myself am one when it comes to your blog. So, because I believe in the sowing and reaping principle (or Karma, or whatver), I wanted you to know that your efforts have brought me a lot of satisfaction…even happiness…
So thank you.
And keep up the good work!
JES
that word was "whatever"...
i am having a blast watching all of the shows you have posted for xmas
