Thank you so much for posting this! I had no idea Don Knotts was ever with Lucy in anything, and it was great to see the two comedy legends together like that!
Kliph, what is Sun TV? Is that a cable network in Canada, or an over-the-air broadcast channel like BCTV?
I think it's a channel available only in Toronto that is owned by Sun Media/Quebecor - a right wing tabloid media company that former prime minister Brian Mulroony has a stake in. Their specialty is running reruns of American shows for cheap and raking in big advertising dollars in return. About 60% of their daily schedule just features infomercials. I don't get the channel myself. The company is mostly involved in tabloid newspapers (sort of in the vein of the New York Post) rather than television.
Along with Here's Lucy, some of the other cool stuff they were showing, I believe, were reruns of The Ed Sullivan Show.
Thanks for clearing that up. I've seen a lot of clips from Sun TV on YouTube, and I've wondered what that was.
