Someone should have punched Spector's lights out once or twice in his life.
Wow! Wow! Wow! You can see how nuts Phil was even back then. And what a rotten toupee he had, even then. So cut again some 40 years later and this insane man kills that lady and now he's in prison where he belongs. What a piece of history (I think anyhow) this interview is. And I don't recall ever having seen Merv this put off by a guest. He was downright angry! Can't blame. And to see the young Eartha Kitt... fantastic! Her Socrates line was brilliant. Good for her. "What a panel" is right! If this clip isn't "classic show biz," then I don't know what is!
