This is a 1951 episode of the soap opera Search For Tomorrow - Don Knotts' very first TV gig. And although he isn't supposed to be, as he nervously waddles back and forth in his sleep, he is hilarious.

I'm sorry. I totally missed how this clip is funny.
Can't say it tickled my funny bone either.
I thought it was more interesting seeing comic actor Cliff Norton in the straight role of the private detective.
