The Weekend Starts Now with guest McCoy Tyner (1972)
Thanks for posting this, and thanks to Brian Arnold for pointing it out to me...Sidran's online c.v. says he started hosting THE WEEKEND STARTS NOW in 1973 (on WMTV, the Madison, WI legacy NBC station...though it started out, in the tougher old days, as a UHF NBC/ABC/Dumont affiliate), and that Tyner's (brilliant) album SONG FOR A NEW WORLD didn't come out till '73 backs that up... http://www.bensidran.com/Television.htm
