Based from the popular characters from King Features Syndicate/Hearst Publications a group of comic strip heroes led by Popeye and his friends stranded on a volcanic island nefarious Dr Grimsby mad scientist attempt to takeover the world now laughs never conquered again Popeye and his friends rescued by submarine and escaped danger and successfully saved the world once again back to Washington DC congratulated by the President of the United States to gather the world of laughter thanks to Popeye and friends. Created by Hal Seeger creator of Schollhouse Rock series released in 1972 aired as a television pilot movie ABC Superstar Movie(1972-73).Thanks!
