  1. My favorite part of this post: The comic book cost 12 cents. I love picturing the pricing strategy meeting. "No one will buy it if it's 13 cents. And we'll lose our shirts if we sell it for 11 cents. So..."

    Or maybe they didn't have pricing strategy meetings back then. Which is how they could afford to sell comic books for 12 cents.
