The Merv Griffin Show with guests Don Rickles and Nina Hagen
Years ago, I fell asleep with the TV on one night, woke up in the middle of the night, watched for a few minutes, and promptly crashed again. I woke up remembering that I'd seen Nina Hagen on Merv singing the Habanera in a white wig. None of my friends (at least one of who is a big Nina Hagen fan)remembered it, and I don't think I could find it in the local TV listings. I finally came to the conclusion that I had dreamt it. Now I know this really happened. I didn't remember the Don Rickles part, though, which is a fabulous bonus!
If you'd've said I'd be watching Merv Griffin & Don Rickles singing with NINA HAGEN in 2007, I'd've asked you to back slowly away from the extremely powerful pharmaceuticals.
