According to Vincent Terrace's "Television Specials: 5,336 Entertainment Programs, 1936-2012, 2d ed." (which I found on Google Books), this show was written and directed by Frank Tashlin, no less. (Though I doubt he wrote the Bickersons sketch, but who knows?)
