The $20,000 Pyramid with celebrity contestants Dick Cavett and Tony Randall (1979)
This particular "$20,000 Pyramid" episode, taped in August 1979 at ABC Studio TV-15 in Manhattan, was the last known on-air appearence for Dick Cavett on the same stage where his former late night talk show (1969-74) originated from. Cavett would return again as a celebrity guest in 1983 on an updated version of the TV game show (retitled as "The New $25,000 Pyramid"), after it was relocated to Los Angeles just a year earlier.
Mel Harris, one of the contestants, later became one of the leads on Thirtysomething, among other credits
