What's My Line with guest Colonel Sanders (1963)
Ahhhhh, no! The Colonel is not appearing as mystery guest. Can you imagine a time where Harlan could just walk into a TV studio like this and not have anybody know "his line?"
For them not to know Col. Sanders Kentucky Fried Chicken in 1963 says more about the panelists, who I guess must have been running in pretty elite circles to never have heard of what was already by 1963 one of the largest fast food chains in the world. As he mentions, it was already in England, and across Canada.

ReplyDeleteThe Colonel was very charming in this.
