It is hard to put into perspective just how huge (no pun intended) of a star Allan Sherman was in the mid-nineteen sixties. After the success of his debut LP, My Son the Folk Singer, all manner of My Son the such and such knock-offs appeared in film, book and LP titles. Along with several songs from his albums, there is also an ad for a Camp Granada board game included in this series of clips.Monday, June 25, 2007
